Looking for a fun and affordable date night idea? You should totally check out Grillin’ & Chilln’ at Emory Point! Not only do you get an entree (hot off the Big Green Egg grill, of course), dessert, and a signature cocktail for only $25 per person. But all the proceeds from ticket sales go to the evening’s highlighted charity. Blankets are provided so you can up the romance factor and enjoy your meals picnic-style under the stars while you listen to live music. But honestly, this event is great whether you’re on a date or you’re hanging out with your squad.
On the night I attended, Chef Jason Jiminez of Kitchen Six made a delicious grilled chicken with salsa verde dish.
Mixologist Jerry Slater served cocktails infused with rosemary, grapefruit, and Cathead Vodka.
And yummy crepes topped with blueberries were the perfect end to the evening.
The music was provided by Lilac Wine. This band was soooo good. They performed a variety of hits that everyone could enjoy. I definitely burned a few calories dancing to the tunes.
Give back while you get a great evening out. Can you think of anything better than that?
