If you’re like me, you got really excited when you heard that blow out salons were a thing. Who wouldn’t love an affordable and fast way to get your hair styled without having to get a cut, color, or other pricey services? But if you’re also like me–a woman of color–you realized (usually after visiting one of these salons), that they’re not always knowledgeable on how to style our hair. Fortunately for our follicles (at least those of us in Atlanta), the Colour Summer Pop Up Salon has arrived!

The Colour Summer Pop Up Salon, located in a VIP space in the fab Indique Boutique in Inman Park, has been created to give women of color the same convenience of those popular blow dry salons–but with stylists who can give women of color the hair TLC they need. The salon offers a curated menu of services from blow outs, presses, twists, and braids…all of the perfect styles you’ll want to wear at the events you’ll attend this summer. The salon is open on Thursdays from 10:00 AM-7:00 PM and Sundays from 1:00 PM-6:00 PM, so you can schedule your appointment according to your fun summer plans.

And not only is champagne served during each appointment, the Colour Summer Pop Up Salon will also host a Happy Hour from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM on Thursdays and provide mimosas on Sundays–you can just stop by during those times, even if you aren’t receiving a service! If you’re like me, you’re also thinking that this is the best idea EVER.

But like the summertime, the Colour Summer Pop Up Salon won’t be around for long. You’ve got until June 18th to visit. Book your appointment ASAP!
